Made by Kwikset, the 980-S SmartKey single cylinder deadbolt is rated as an ANSI/BHMA A156.2 grade 1 security lock. It is designed with a patented side locking bar technology offers improved security by protecting against lock bumping. It is made of solid brass and is backed by a lifetime mechanical warranty. A single cylinder deadbolt, this front door lock is operated by a key on the exterior and a thumbturn on the interior. Adjustable backset for 2-3/8" and 2-3/4" and it will fit 1-3/4" door thicknesses.

This Smartkey Kwikset Lock offers convenience and security. It allows you to re-key the lock yourself without removing from the door; this mean you will be able to key all your SmartKey locks to one Kwikset key. Smartkey Deadbolts offer the highest grade of security with a standard ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 Cylinder. It is pick resistant and bump proof.
