The modern square single cylinder auxiliary deadbolt lock will fit either 2-3/8 inch or 2-3/4 inch backsets on doors that are 1-3/8 inches or 1-3/4 inches thick. It is 2-5/8 inches square and is available in 7 finishes that all seem to bring out the modern appeal of the shape. A single cylinder deadbolt, the latch is thrown and retracted by a thumb turn on the interior and by a key from the exterior.
