This stainless steel narrow security door latch protector is 10" high and designed specifically for outswing doors (door opens out of the room or building) that require a very narrow plate (only 1-1/2" wide). For use with mortise locks and key-in knobs / levers (door knobs or levers that use a key to unlock).
