This door viewer is used for both security and privacy. It is handy when you have a solid door with no windows, so you can see who is at your doorway before opening the door. This simple and inexpensive product can add a whole lot of security and peace of mind to your home. This door peep hole has a 200 degree wide viewing angle and is UL Listed for use on fire rated doors. Fits metal and wood doors 1-3/8" - 2-1/4" thick. Solid brass construction. Installation is easy: the viewer is two piece. Drill a 5/8" diameter hole in the door. Insert one piece on the inside, and screw in the second piece from the outside.
