Flush bolts (also known as door edge bolts) are installed into the edge of the door and have a toggle lever that is moved up and down to push the attached rod and bolt into a header or threshold (footer), which locks or unlocks an inactive door. Comes complete with flush bolt assembly, extension rod, matching finish screws, strike plate and bolt guide. Available in nine finishes. The EFB extension flush bolt is designed with a unique cam mechanism which allows a smooth open-close sliding action. This eliminates springs which can break or jam. The guide design and flat side of the door bolt head prevents the bolt from rotating.

If measuring an existing Extension Flush bolt for replacement: Measure from the "Flip Lever" to the "Door Bolt Head". Available lengths are 12", 18" or 24".
